Of the things that I enjoy helping people with, helping with weight loss is right up there at the top of my list. I don't have The Answer for you, though. You have the answer within yourself. I enjoy facilitating as you find Your Answer.
I'm not a doctor or nutritionist. I'm just a chick who has dealt with the issue of weight my entire life. I've done a lot of first-hand experimentation with losing weight. I've watched people close to me struggle with their weight. I understand the frustration and personal grief attached to wanting to be smaller.
During a period of time in my life when I wasn't feeling very healthy I went on a mission to learn more about my body and my health....along the way I learned some things about how my body deals with the food I put into it and how my mind deals with the thoughts I put into it. Because of my area of professional expertise I was also able to make a connection between how people deal with change to understand that losing weight successfully isn't just about the diet you're on.
Losing weight is about what's in your head, your beliefs, your feelings about yourself, your habits, your knowledge about how your body functions, the environment(s) you hang out in every day and your thoughts about the world and the way you fit into it.
I make available on my website some general information that is helpful to anyone wanting to lose weight....young or old....men and women. Most of my focus work, though, is with you girls....especially you single girls. I am intimately familiar with the battle between The Single Girl and The Scale. I also very much enjoy allowing all women to see that the ultimate weight loss goal is NOT to be a size 0. There are many, many gorgeous and accomplished women in this world who are not skinny. You don't have to be skinny to live beautifully and to feel acceptable to yourself and the world.
